About Us

Legend says that in the XVIII century, during one of many clashes between nations in Europe, the lord of St. Sebastian disobeyed to the order of the field general to withdraw to the second lines. Later on, the effort of those troops was determinant to achieve victory against an overwhelming force; since then, the lord of St. Sebastian was unofficially called Bastian Contrari, 'he who opposes', contrarian in nowadays words. 

 

This blog aims not to be contrarian on principle; instead, to provide a different point of view or news and information about topics that matter to us. Last but not least, we do not aspire to achieve any of the world-changing purposes, but one: inspire people to develop critical thinking.
